What interests you – making someone smile, meeting new people, learning how a hospital works? The Norman Regional Auxiliary has many volunteer opportunities in a wide range of areas throughout the hospital. Please call 405-307-1788 for an informational brochure and application.

A few of the volunteer areas include:

Customer Service – Volunteers visit newly admitted patients to check on their admission process and determine if they have any needs.

Gift Shop – Be part of the Auxiliary’s largest revenue-generating effort as a sales associate or cashier in the hospital’s Gift Shop.

Information Desk – Volunteers escort patients, assist visitors, provide room numbers and deliver mail and flowers to patient rooms.

Patient Rounding - Volunteers visit patients offering complimentary comfort items such as lip balm, hair combs, puzzle books, etc.

Scrub Shop – A specialty retail area offering scrubs, shoes & various accessories. Volunteers assist customers with special orders, sales and stocking the store.

Surgery Waiting – Volunteers serve as the contact between surgery, recovery, and families of surgery patients, providing assistance when needed.
